AI-Powered Chord Progressions

MIDI Lab AI can generate chord progressions in any style—lo-fi, trap, house, ambient, jazz. Describe the vibe, key, or mood: "sad lo-fi chords in A minor," "uplifting house progression in F," "trap minor 7ths." You get ready-to-use MIDI that you can download or stream to your hardware. Change the synth, transpose, or edit in the piano roll—the MIDI stays flexible.

Melodies That Evolve

The Infinite Engine doesn't just loop—it evolves. Start with a simple phrase and let the AI develop variations over time. The pattern shifts, adds tension, and releases. Perfect for ambient pads, generative sequences, or live jams where you want movement without manual programming. Stream directly to your synths via Web MIDI.

Use Cases for Producers

Beat block: Generate chord progressions or melodies when you're stuck. Use them as starting points.
Genre exploration: Try prompts outside your usual style—"jazz chords," "dnb drums"—and see what inspires.
Hardware jamming: Stream evolving patterns to your synths, tweak patches, and record when something clicks.
Presets: Save your best prompts to My Presets and recall them for future projects.
