Live Infinite Jams: Make Music Together in Real Time
What Is a Live Infinite Jam?
A Live Infinite Jam is a real-time session built into MIDI Lab. You start from the Infinite Engine, invite others with a link, and everyone stays in sync: play, stop, tempo changes, layer tweaks, drum steps, and evolving track updates can flow to everyone in the room. MIDI still drives your sounds—synths, modules, or instruments—not a generic AI mixdown.
How to Host and Join
Open the Infinite page while signed in, start a session, and share your jam link. Guests follow the link to join; the host can admit collaborators or viewers so the room stays under control. Starting a jam costs three credits so sessions stay meaningful for the community.
Private Practice or Public Energy
Keep a jam invite-only for writing sessions with friends, or go public when you want an audience-style vibe. Either way, the same engine powers the session: AI-generated and evolved MIDI patterns, streamed or edited in context.
Why It Matters for Producers
Most tools stop at solo generation. Live jams add presence, timing, and split-second decisions—closer to a studio or stage than a lone export workflow. Pair this with Web MIDI streaming and getting started with MIDI Lab to go from first prompt to collaborative performance.
