Key Differentiators
- Infinite Engine: Stream AI MIDI to hardware in real time—few tools do this. Most AI music tools output audio or require export. MIDI Lab streams live.
- Web MIDI: No desktop app. Works in Chrome or Edge with your existing USB interfaces. No installation.
- Preset Library: Save and reuse prompts across sessions. Share presets with the community. Build a personal library.
- MIDI Packs: Curated genre packs for trap, lo-fi, house. Ready-to-use chord progressions, melodies, and drum patterns.
- Output Flexibility: Download MIDI files for your DAW or stream to hardware. One tool, two workflows.
The Hardware Angle
If you use hardware synths, MIDI Lab is built for you. Direct Web MIDI streaming, up to 16 outputs, and evolving patterns that play your gear live. Connect your Moog, Prophet, or Eurorack—no DAW in the middle. The AI generates; your synths sound. Try the Infinite Engine and read Infinite MIDI to synths.
